  • Laminate Film: Laminate film typically consists of a base material such as Polyester (PET) or OPP adhered to paper or board. Once applied, the laminate cannot be easily separated from the substrate, making recycling nearly impossible. As a result, laminated products often end up in landfills, contributing to waste accumulation. In contrast, stamping foil can be recycled, as the foil layer dissipates during the recycling process, ensuring a more sustainable end-of-life scenario.

During the repulping process, the foil layer dissipates without affecting the overall recyclability of the paper or board, ensuring that materials with foil can be effectively repurposed.
